My last project won via 99designs.com was to design a logo for Cammel Consulting from Australia. They provide Human Resource management consulting services primarily to remote location mine sites in the Asia Pacific Region. This also includes recruitment services, performance management advice, remuneration, employee relations advice and mentoring. Client requested in the project brief that new logo must convey youthful, fresh, professional ideas & services, and it must use a pictorial or an abstract mark in vibrant colours. Thanks to a very constructive feedback from the client, at the end I think I achieved main objectives stated in the brief and my logo was picked from 120 entries submitted by 25 other designers.Continue Reading

I had no time recently to join new freelance contests at 99designs.com, but I got a really nice invitation from Property Rental People, who were running a contest over there. Property Rental People manages residential and commercial real estate primarily in the Treasure Valley, and is based in Boise, USA. I joined almost at the end of qualifying round, but I managed to grab the attention of contest holder with my initial proposals, what gave me a chance to fine-tune one of the concepts in the final round, thanks to a lot of support from a client. My design was picked out of 90 entries from 14 other designers.Continue Reading

Client was looking for a tree based logo, build out of marshmallows and candies. These products are sold in smart gift packaging through department stores, so also label for packaging had to be designed. Colours which I used were specified in the project brief. Overall look & fell had to be attractive for kids but also sophisticated enough for adults, as most products are bought by adults either for themselves or as a present for kids. Continue Reading
