My last contest at 99design.com, which I won just before my holidays, was held by The Woods Law Firm, a specialized law firm from USA. They have offices in a couple of cities in State of South Carolina. For over 16 years they have been defending people who have legal issues and court cases and help people injured in auto accidents and work-related accidents. Contest holder specified in his brief a couple of idea for his own logo, I decided to focus on the concept which incorporates a shield into the design. I decided to combine the letter W with a very simple shield. That letter W also can be recognized as two arms or even as two arms with swords in hands. The winning design will be used in all future prints but also tv & media campaigns. It will be also used to redesign the website in coming months. With this design, I managed to beat over 150 entries by 18 other designers, so I was extremely happy of the final success.Continue Reading

19czeLogo for Bowden Fence
After coming back from holidays I participated in a couple of contests at 99designs.com One of my wins was a logo I designed for Bowden Fence, from Kansas in USA. It’s a family business that specializes in farm, commercial, and residential fence. Contest holder was looking for a logo, which is showing some reference to fences and also requested to incorporate a horse in the design. I decided to use initials of the owner and I put these letters like a small fence, which keeps a stallion from running away. My logo was chosen out of 80 other proposals submitted by other designers.Continue Reading
03czeHand-drawn icon logo for HBH
As explained yesterday in other post, I was out of regular work for 2 months. But I completed some projects right before taking such a long break. One of them was logo created for HBH Global, a company from Netherlands, which offers consultancy & management services to other companies trying to enter European markets. HBH in in general management consultancy, primarily focused on international market entry projects. HBH were looking for a logo through 99designs.com, so I had to compete with 15 other designers. There was almost no information provided in the project brief, so I had full freedom in creating this logo. I decided to focus on global aspect, but instead of typical silhouette of Earth, I sketched a unique & simplified icon, in which I also incorporated a small arrow to suggest things like turnover & change. I was really glad that my idea was chosen at the end.Continue Reading
