After a very long break I decided to try my skills once more in logo-design contests at 99designs.com I was extremely lucky to join a perfect contest right at the start, after receiving an invitation from the contest holder. And I enjoyed designing this logo a lot, because of having a chance to cooperate with a very nice naturopath from Australia, who is just starting out her business, called Natural Alignment Therapies. She encompasses other therapies to bring an individual back into wellness & vitality alignment, so they are healthy on all levels physical, spiritually and emotionally. Client was not interested in typical green leaf kind of design which is common for many naturopaths, therefore I decided to hand-sketch some unique concepts, focusing on the concept of the tree of life, which represents very often a harmony between mind, body and spirit. Target is mainly females (mid 20’s – 50’s), so I sketched a woman’s body. As I mentioned, this logo was designed for a contest posted at 99designs.com, and I managed to beat more than 100 entries from 25 other designers.Continue Reading

26czeLogo for Sowi Zakątek
Sowi Zakątek is the name of a place you can rent for holidays. It’s a newly built all-year wooden house located in small village called Baraniec in Poland. There are owls on the property, that’s why logo shows an owl on top of the wooden roof, and at the bottom of the logo mark you may see three stripes which represent forest, meadow and water. It’s because the house is located in a peaceful area at the edge of the forest, nearby the meadow, and there’s a water pond next to the house. I invite you to visit their websiteContinue Reading
12lutLogo for Poplar Grove
Another contest, recently won by me at 99designs.com, was held by a US construction company which builds town-houses and new communities. The Poplar Grove development is located in one of the city’s newest subdivisions near park space and a grove of poplar trees. The community will be marketed as family friendly with ample green space, trees and beautiful walking and biking trails. I used that information as inspiration to create a logo, which at the end was awarded. I focused on the very specific shape of poplar trees, and sketched a group of such trees, keeping all in warm, earthly colours. In the contest I was competing with over 30 other designers, so it was a great feeling to win it.Continue Reading
